Description #1 - Portland harbor scene, late 19th century. There are sailing ships at anchor on both sides of the river and several steamers and tall ships are underway out in the channel.
#2 - The Hawthorne Bridge across the Willamette, with what appears to be a log raft prominent in the foreground. The Hawthorne was opened Dec. 19, 1910.
