Description 
Sacred Heart Academy in the late 1920s. Sacred Heart Academy was built in Salem in 1863 by the Sisters of the Holy Name as a girls' school. It was on the east side of Cottage Street, between Chemeketa and Center. The building was demolished in June, 1971.
